The President of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, and the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food Sovereignty
of the Government of the Canary Islands, Narvay Quintero, have signed today Wednesday, January 29, together with the rector of the University of La Laguna (ULL), Francisco Javier García Rodríguez, a collaboration agreement with which reinforces the support for the Chair of Agrotourism and Wine Tourism of the Canary Islands, created in 2019 and funded through the Canary Islands Institute of Agri-Food Quality (ICCA), with the aim of promoting training, outreach and research in this field and promote synergies between the primary and tourism sectors.
The Canary Islands Wine Tourism Cluster was present at the signing of the agreement. Its president, José María Gómez, highlighted the active role and contribution of the Chair as a partner of this business association.
